My first time photographing at Guildford Manor, and I can only describe it as a dreamy little slice of luxury. I was in awe of the decor at this venue. Simple and elegant with a touch of Downton Abbey! Two Americans who only met once this side of the pond, sounds like something right out of a romance novel am I right? I was filled in on all of the details from the get go. What each Bridesmaid does for work. Where the guests were all travelling from. It makes it that little bit more personal knowing a bit more about not just the couple, but everyone there. It’s almost as if you can get to know people before you’ve even had the chance to meet them! The only drama from the day was me going on a wild goose chase trying to find Percy the Peacock! Yes it took me hours, it was my mission! He was totally worth it! These two planned every detail down to a tee. Everything worked with everything else, and having Gen, the planner, was a godsend. If you’re on the fence about getting a planner, get one! All your stress will soon fade away.
