Now, this one was a first for all of us. Never before have we had to try and hitch up a model in a wedding dress, onto the worlds biggest horse! It was hilarious! Also, there’s a fun fact that I’ll tel you at the end of this post…
You know those people who say to never work with children or animals? Well, they’re crazy! I know that no children were present at this shoot, but there were animals, and I bloody loved working with them!! Firstly, horses are always so much bigger up close. No matter how big you think that horse is, it’s always bigger than you thought! And I’m a little embarrassed to say it, but that horse had better hair than I do!!
I have to give a big shout out to the models for this shoot. It was October, and it was cold!! How they stood outside in just dresses I have no idea. But damn, they absolutely killed this shoot!
I have to admit, doing outdoor shoots is a lot more fun than indoor. (Obviously there’s no getting a horse indie!) but there’s so much more freedom! It helps that we had a farm to ourselves, curtsy of the wonderful Laura Cartwright’s fantastic parents who just casually have a farm for a back garden!
